Starting assumptions for this tribe:

One cannot "be the change in the world you wish to see" until you know what change, in fact, you wish to see.

Please do not join this tribe unless you believe that some marked improvement in society or civilization as it currently exists is: *) necessary, *) possible or *) at least worth daydreaming about.

If you must challenge the starting assumptions of a particular thread, please suggest an alternate goal or strategy, or at least be specific about the obstacles toward that goal and what sacrifices might be required to reduce those obstacles.
